Awake early this morning, the dogs keep getting disturbed by dog walkers, runners, cyclist etc. The slightest noise sets Mabel off and then Archie has to join in – Jack Russell’s!! One of the reasons why we like to moor in more remote spots. Can't complain though as they are fantastic guard dogs, great charachters and great companions.
Walked with Rhonda to the train station. A beautiful morning. The dogs were not happy after leaving Rhonda at the train station, Archie didn’t want to walk for the first half mile back– one of the pack being missing. He hasn’t eaten much since and will not eat much again until Friday when the pack is all back together again.
Glenn and his girlfriend Maysa arrived after lunch on their motorbike and stayed for a couple of hours. We moved the boat half a mile or so away from the basin in the hope that there will be less foot traffic on the tow path and I will get a bit more sleep in the morning.
