It's hard to believe we are now into August, the year is flying by.
Pulled the pins around 07:00 and headed on north. Stopped at Polesworth on the way past so that we could nip into the village to pick up the papers and a few more bits and pieces from the butcher shop.
Hopwas was very busy as we passed through, lots of moored boats, much busier than it was around this time last year when we passed on our way south.
Moored up at lunch time about a mile north of Hopwas in a nice quiet spot.
After lunch, we walked the pleasant 4.5 mile round trip to the Co-Op shop at Whittington. There is a post office and chemist in the village as well.
