Sunday 11th November 2007 Location: Nether Heyford, Northamptonshire, Grand Union Today: 14 miles, 7 locks. Total distance: 906 miles. Total locks: 595 Cool grey day. Reasonable t-mobile 3g reception here. Pulled the pins around 08:30 and continued north. We have been passing through some lovely countryside since leaving Milton Keynes. I think I prefer the winter time on the canals, not as much traffic. We passed through the Blisworth tunnel again today, it was much wetter in the tunnel than it was on the previous occasions that we have passed through. Strange because there has not been much rain recently. Current mooring Some lovely views along this stretch of canal
