Filled up with diesel from the coal boat on Sunday evening, 60p per litre, not a bad price. Moved up to Croxley Green yesterday morning and found a mooring spot with a good wide bit of tow path for cutting up the bits of tree that we have been carrying around for the last two months. We now have a nice pile of logs on the roof. They should be nice and dry by the time we need to burn them. Croxley Green is a very handy mooring location. There is a train station (direct line into London) and shops within easy walking distance from the canal. Summer is back today, the sun is out and the temperature is up into the high twenties - just the weather for swinging a big heavy axe!!!! Not complaining though..... Batchford Lock
It's looking good now - just been re-painted and tidied up
nb Eye of Horus
Interesting boat
Note the large solar panels fore and aft
