Location: Cropredy, Oxfordshire, Oxford Canal

Today: 2 miles, 8 locks. Total distance: 1152 miles.  Total locks: 735

Pulled the pins around 09:00 and headed the short distance down the locks to Cropredy where we will rest up for a few days while waiting on some mail that Rhonda has arranged to be sent to the Cropredy post office.

Had some good news from my sister early this afternoon. My niece Karen has just given birth to her second son Alex. Both Karen and Alex are fine. Alex weighed in at 9lb 7oz. This will need to be celebrated.

Rhonda and I are now feeling much better after what has been a very unpleasant bout of the flu. We are still not quite 100% but are feeling a great deal better than we have been.
