Sunday 3rd August 2008 Location: Fradley, Staffordshire, Coventry Canal Today: 7 miles, 0 locks. Total distance: 1593 miles. Total locks: 1153 Pulled the pins around 08:00 and moved on to Whittington to pick up the papers at the Co-Op. After picking up the papers we headed on to Fradley Junction to fill up with water. We arrived at Fradley at around 12:00 and had intended to turn west onto the Trent and Mersey and head up through the two locks but it was so busy at the junction that we decided to just moor up until tomorrow morning when it will be a bit quieter. Lots of boating traffic out and about today, also, lots of sight seers at Fradley Junction – weekend and nice weather. Current Mooring
