Location: Thrupp, Oxfordshire, South Oxford Canal
Today: 7 miles, 6 locks. Total distance: 2071 miles. Total locks: 1398
Pulled the pins around 11:00 and continued on southward.
Stopped off at the Lower Hayford water point to fill the tank. It took just over an hour to fill, a very slow tap indeed!!!
Arrived at Thrupp around 19:00 and moored in what was the last but one free space in the area. Thrupp is a very popular spot with boaters, something to do with the two canal side pubs I suspect ??
Passed Maffi on nb Milly M at Shipton lift bridge, stopped for a brief hello and offered to help Maffi clear whatever it was that just fowled his prop. The canal is very shallow near the bridge.
