Moved on down to Brewood and went for a wander around the village – photos below.
We decided to move on south so that when we set off for the Woolverhampton flight (21 locks), we won’t have too far to travel before we reach the first of the locks. Our plan is to head up the flight then find somewhere reasonable to moor between Wolverhampton and Birmingham – if such a place exists?? We don’t want to have to do the whole journey from this mooring to Brum in a single day, especially in this warm humid weather.
