Dropped down through Gloucester lock this morning and headed back up the Severn towards Tewksbury.
We were lucky enough to find a mooring outside the Lower Lobe pub at Forthampton – about a mile south of Tewksbury.

River Severn west of Gloucester lock - this is where you end up if you miss the lock!!!
Lock keeper's cottsge - entry to lock is from left to right
Entry to Gloucester lock - you don't want to go to the right.......
And the current can be strong - I have seen it.....
This is where VHF comes in handy
